Description

This shelf brings structure and minimalist design to any room. The clean lines are created by a foundation consisting of a total of four square cubes with doors, on top of which are stacked three F3 modules plus a 1:1 cube. This way, you can store your records in collections on top and stow away everything you'd rather not see. There's also an LP box on the shelf to keep your favorite records close to hand.

Thanks to the innovative clip system, all you have to do is stack the modules on the two base plates and fasten them with the connecting clips (either to the front or back) - and there you have it, your stocubo shelf is ready!

Frequently asked questions about our record shelves

How do I build record shelves from stocubo?

The assembly of one of our record shelves takes no longer than it takes you to listen to an LP. In most cases, it takes even less time than that! Align the base plates straight with the spirit level, stack the cubes together in the shape of your desired vinyl shelf, then simply clamp them together with the connecting clips. Your new LP shelf is already in place. Time for some hi-fi moments!

Exactly what are the dimensions of the record shelves from stocubo?

As you assemble your stocubo record shelf yourself, it will always be the exact same size as your record collection! We can therefore only give you the dimensions for individual modules. The most suitable modules for the construction of record shelves are 1:1 modules and 2:3 modules along with our LP-boxes. The dimensions of all modules can be found in our online-shop.

How many plates fit in a cube?

As many records have varying levels of thickness, this can only be estimated. As a guide: in a 1:1 cube with the inner dimensions 33.2 x 33.2 x 33 centimeters fit approximately 50 to 70 records. You can see the exact dimensions of each module in our online-shop. Simply click on the respective cube to do so.

Can the record shelves also be hung on the wall?

Yes, this is possible, as you can have wall rails and suspensions delivered with your new record shelf from stocubo. The latter are already mounted on the respective modules, and then you only need to fix the rails to the wall and hang the cubes. This way, your LP shelf becomes a hanging shelf in no time! However, due to the weight of records, we recommend not to load hanging cubes that are totally full of records.

Do CDs or DVDs also fit in the LP shelves?

Our 1:1 modules are designed to fit exactly the dimensions of LPs. However, they can easily be complemented with other modules, such as our 1:2 module (for CDs) and our 2:3 module (for DVDs). They can be selected in either half or full depth and can be easily planned in the online configurator. All modules fit together perfectly, so your new shelf will always have a uniform look. Are double-width modules (71.2 cm) suitable for LP shelves?

Double-width modules (2:1 module, 1:2 double-width module, 2:3 double-width module) are without reinforcement only partially suitable for LP shelves due to their long, self-supporting floors and their material thickness. They can be conveniently used in the top row of an LP shelf or sideboard, but should not be fitted with record players or other heavy equipment on top. In this case, we recommend either loosely or firmly glued divider or our special cover plates, which are slightly deeper than the shelf modules and distribute the weight on them particularly well.
